Notice the ball over in the right hand side of the picture. Byron has been watching his brothers play baseball since he was born.....and he has been waiting to play since he was about 3!!! He took it very seriously and knew just what to do! It was so fun for him! (Us too!)
Made it home....
He had a lot of fun playing the pitching position. Most of the balls came to him, so he got to scoop them up and throw them to first!

Byron's first game ever
Baseball Season has Arrived!
Baseball season is here!! We had a full day there for opening ceremonies, games, etc...the morning was cold, but it didn't rain!
I think they all look so cute in their uniforms and especially their hats!
Literary Luncheon
Jared's third grade teacher holds a literary luncheon for the kids who reach the reading goal for the trimester. The parents bring in their kids' favorite foods, we eat by candlelight, and then the awards are given out. Jared got a special award (free dinner at a restaurant) for doubling his minutes. After the awards, the kids played chess with their parents! Was a fun lunch!
