The Rainforest Cafe

What a perfect ending to a day at the zoo...eating at the Rainforest Cafe! We originally were told we'd have a 2 1/2 hour wait, so when we walked in at 6 (expecting to just wait around in the gift shop), we were pleasantly surprised to find empty tables and they were able to seat us! It is such a fun restaurant for kids! (us too!)
This is the tree above our table. The cheetah would growl and move every few minutes. We sat directly under the starry sky. Sometimes a shooting star would go through the sky.

Lauren and Sandy....our dear cuzzies.
One of the many fish tanks.
The kids held up sooo well after a day full of walking!
This is the volcano dessert. We all shared it. YUMMY

Each kid got a little something from the gift shop. Notice the croc behind them...it moved back and forth opening up its mouth.

.

The snake would move back and forth and stick its tongue out!

This tree was NOT in the cafe. It was just in the parking lot outside, but when I looked up, I thought it looked so pretty against the dark sky!

Looks like everyone had a wonderful day at the zoo. What a great way to end a "zoo" day at Rainforest Cafe. We have one here in Houston too! Great pics of all!
