A Cabin Retreat

Talbert and Karen invited us up to their family's cabin since it was a long weekend! It was great fun! The kids get along so well, and so look forward to being together! We drove up there and as we were unloading, the first snowflakes fell. The next morning we woke up to snow! When we first got there, the cabin was pretty cold! The kids liked watching their breath inside the cabin. Karen and I left the oven open after the pizza came out to warm up a bit!
Everybody huddled near a heater until the fire got going!PJ's, hot chocolate, good friends, and comic books....can life get any better?

We were wet when we came in after playing in the snow!
Morgan loves to write in her diary!
Go fish!

What fun in the snow. The pictures with the big snowflakes are neat. I had so much fun 3 years ago when we had a snow day with you. I remember the crowd getting bigger as the afternoon came. I was amazed how people did not think of moving out of the way of the sleds coming down the hill! The cabin looks so cozy. The kids will remember this for quite awile.

Thanks for posting your bright family smiles. It was fun to see your blog and think of our own kids, now grown and on their own. I found you on the "Next blog" link. Thanks.
